It’s been a long wait to watch the film UnIndian, but all worth it! A year ago the Indian Down Under was invited on the sets of UnIndian to interview the lead cast. Since then it has been the most awaited film of the year for Aussie Indians. Specially Sydneysiders many of whom took part in the movie by way of acting, appearing en masse in some scenes or even behind the scenes.

At a glitzy red carpet function, UnIndian was premiered at Hoyts cinemas at the Entertainment Quarter. The man of the show, director Anupam Sharma led the red carpet with lead actor Brett Lee accompanied by the cast of actors Nicholas Brown, Sarah Roberts, Arka Das, Kumud Merani, Balbir Singh and many more.

The event was well attended by the who’s who of Sydney. Everyone wore a glamourous look and enjoyed mingling, drinking, eating and posing for photos. Sooner than later Facebook was flooded by photos and check-ins from the premiere! The lead cast happily agreed to pose for photos with their fans before everyone entered the cinema.

For his first lead role, Brett Lee walked into the hearts of the audience with the same ease as he walked the red carpet! Actress Tannishtha Chatterjee has always been a winner with every role she has played and she is no less in this film. Anupam Sharma has done a brilliant job as a first time director. We won’t reveal much in this write-up as a film review is coming shortly!

UnIndian is a film that will touch the chords of every Indian living in Australia, make any age group laugh, explain the meaning of love and define the title of the film ”˜UnIndian’. With a brilliant star cast and a catchy music score, the film is here to stay. Don’t forget to watch the film at your nearby cinemas from October 15 onwards!
