Srishti Aggarwal wins Miss India Australia 2019 title

Sydney girl, Srishti Aggarwal, 22 years old, double degree finance/commerce student, is the Raj Suri Miss India Australia 2019 winner. 

Srishti is in the final year of her graduation from Macquarie University, Sydney. In addition to English, Srishti can speak Hindi and Punjabi.

Srishti is passionate about body image and self-confidence in women across Australia.   She personally was over weight and lost 20 kgs  to build her own confidence.  “As a woman, one does not need perfect figure, but, need to look after your own bodies for yourself, not for others.” – says Srishti. She wants to be a role model for young girls in Australia, especially issues related with obesity.

The Miss India Australia winner and the 8 finalists were selected on the basis of their overall personality and talent performances after the face to face and online auditions, with real casting experience, self image and Bollywood workshops in Sydney by Australian Indian talent mentor Raj Suri.

Miss India Australia 2019, Srishti Aggarwal, will officially represent Australia in the 28th Miss India Australia Worldwide 2019 week at the five star Leela Hotel, Mumbai, India from 2 September. The finale is on 7 September 2019 in the grand ballroom in the same hotel in Mumbai.

Indian entertainment industry professionals are expected to attend including many Bollywood celebrities.

Also representing at the same time will be the 4th Mrs India Worldwide 2019.

The Mrs India Worldwide Australia 2019 was taken out by Karishma Bhojwani, 28 years old, business school performing arts creative, who is a working professional in design and innovation in a top company in Sydney. Karishma is passionate about women pursuing creative arts after marriage.
