The Granada Award for Pluralistic Endeavours

Are they up for the interfaith adventure of a lifetime?
Welcome to the first Muslims Without Borders Granada Award for Pluralistic Endeavours funded by the NSW Community Relations Commission. This Award will select young individuals between the ages of 17 and 25 years who are highly committed to the social activities of their church, synagogue, mosque, temple or other religious institution and who are ready and willing to embark on an interfaith adventure with similarly committed young people of other faiths.
As part of this award the selected candidates will be awarded an all-expense paid interfaith hiking trip to the amazing and serene Tasmanian Wilderness, where as part of a group the candidates will hike through dense untouched forests, see rare wildlife in their original habitats, learn new skills, discuss religion and build bridges and bonds that will last a lifetime. This trip will be filmed and will be made into a documentary to be aired internationally and entered into film festivals. Furthermore this trek will be given widespread media coverage. The trek will be held between the 26th and 29th of April, Candidates must be available at these times in order to be awarded this prize.
In order to be eligible for this award, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
- A practicing member of an institutional religion
- Be either a Muslim, Christian, Jew, Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh or other religion
- Be affiliated with a mosque, church, temple or other religious institution
- Minimum HSC qualification – post secondary education preferred but HSC graduates will be considered
- Aged between 17 – 25 years
- Is seeking to work with religious groups other than their own
- Leadership experience
