September is a busy month for Mind Blowing Films
Action-packed flicks, romantic-comedies, social-thrillers and sports stories about the human spirit – this September look forward to an assorted range of great films and entertainment. Start the month off with AKIRA, releasing on 2nd September and follow the journey of a young one-woman army and her battles against a corrupt police force based in Mumbai. Sonakshi Sinha’s portrayal of the fierce young fighter has already received a positive response and we’re sure she’ll leave you feeling empowered and excited. Nawazuddin Siddiqui strikes again in FREAKY ALI, releasing 9th September, only this time with golf clubs, a special secret and a thrilling local under-world story with a twist. Termed to be a “Social Comedy”, ACTOR IN LAW follows the journey of Shan Mirza, a Pakistani lawyer, who aspires to take up acting as his prime profession. Scheduled for a 12th September release, the film stars Fahad Mustafa, Om Puri and Mehwish Hayat. Soon after, 13th September calls for the release of another much-awaited Pakistani film ”“ JANAAN, starring Armeena Khan, Bilal Ashraf, Ali Rehman and Mishi Khan in the lead roles. The film is a classic tale of finding love, comfort and a sense of belonging with one’s roots. The story includes an unexpected marriage proposal, a love triangle and a series of hilarious events are sure to keep you entertained, charmed and touched throughout. Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s social drama PINK is set for release on 16th September. With Amitabh Bachchan and Tapsee Pannu in the lead roles, the film is a hard-hitting tale that encourages us to ask questions about the current social stigmas, laws and court proceedings in modern, urban India. We finally end September with one of the most anticipated films of the year ”“ M.S. DHONI, releasing on the 30th. Follow the incredible journey of one of India’s most beloved cricketers ”“ Mahendra Singh Dhoni played by the exceptionally talented Sushant Singh Rajput for it is a tale that truly exemplifies the triumph of the human spirit.
