Desire Creations’ catwalk entices Sydney with a spectacular fashion show

The busy Liverpool Catholic Club was transformed into a large Indian Bollywood celebration on Sunday afternoon with Sydney’s models walking down the ramp in extravagant Indian traditional ensembles put up by Desire Creations. Desire Creations celebrated their first anniversary with a spectacular fashion show on Sunday May 28, 2017, at Liverpool Catholic Church with a glittering, glamorous and jaw-dropping models in catwalk by Sydney’s gorgeous mums.

The exhibition was a great success with about more than hundred women totally smitten by the apparel on display. There were many stalls selling jewellery, Indian outfits, handbags at discounted prices. The pieces were creative and beautifully constructed and chosen.

This popular Sydney label had worked with the fashion show to create an appealing concept that would showcase their collection and the very best of Indian traditional wear. Audience cheered when the models walked the ramp, watching the creatively dressed girls.  It was an explosion of colour, intricate delicate designs in traditional outfits. For women of a   certain age fashion doesn’t matter; it is the style that counts. Charming Master of Ceremonies Asheesh Saini carried the show well.

The models were Megha Agarwal, Abbey Singh, Kavita Misra, Angel Miglani, Tania Sharma, Sirat Singh and Raman Singh as they dazzled all. There was stylish Indian and Western wear, and they impressed the audience by strutting their stuff in high heels, their dresses, make up, hair styles utterly wooed the audience.

Megha Agarwal and Abbey Singh wore nose rings for good measure matching with stunning lehngas. Megha Agarwal walked the ramp in blue gown and simply carried the look with grace. Kavita Misra was in elegant black gown, she was blowing kisses to her supporters  and posing confidently with that perfect smile. Also seen on the ramp was Angel Miglani in a resplendent deep two shades of blue lehnga paired with a magenta gold blouse. Other models Sirat, Raman and Tania looked an absolute fairytale princesses. The Show- stopper was Abbey Singh who looked extremely stunning and fresh in her off white and brick red lehnga with gold jewellery and wavy hair that completely nailed the look.

Another highlight of the show was dance performance by Shikha Jain, that added an extra touch of Bollywood colours to an eventful afternoon. Vivek Singha shared the FoxG1 awareness with everyone. Makeup artist Beautymonks by Inderpreet Kaurshe created a stunning look on each and every model.

Once the fashion show was wrapped up, everyone gathered for a cake cutting ceremony and raffle draw. Manbeen Walia won the Raffle prize. The organisers of the event Shilpy Jain and Ranju Saini gave all privilege to enjoy elegant fashion show. Already there are enquiries for next year’s show.

The whole process and setup on the day was just perfect and the whole experience quite professional in its appeal. Perhaps, one of the most enjoyable beauty fashion show in Sydney one has witnessed.
