Remember November 11, join in in Vision 2020s’ Diwali Walkathon for a good cause
Vision 2020 is organising a Healthy Diwali Walkathon at Parramatta park (Meeting point Garraway Picnic centre) on Sunday 11 November starting at 8.30 am. There are various free activities like yoga, Bollywood dance, story time for kids etc along with fresh (yummy idli and dosa) food available at very reasonable prices.
The funds raised in this event will be dedicated to building a block of toilets for a school for underprivileged children in Chennai, India. This is a second fund raising event in 2018 to meet the promised amount of $25,000 to the school.
So far Vision 2020 has supported 23 projects in India, Nepal and other developing countries to build infrastructure and provide basic facilities like ramps, wheelchairs, toilets, hospice
Vision 2020, Sydney’s trusted and respected charity organisations, stands apart in the sense that every cent raised is donated to the designated project with no overhead costs like administration and advertising.
All donations to Vision 2020 are now tax exempt.
