I was curious to know about this cute little girl so I contacted her parents in Assam and I had an overwhelming profound phone conversation with Nidhi and her parents in Tezpur, Assam. They took time to kindly provide us with detailed information.
Nidhi performed at the age of two at one of the Assamese Bihu festival. When she was three and half years old, she was offered a child role in Assamese film called ”˜Kokaideu Bindaas’ with famous actors in Assam. She was brave in front of camera and leapt at the opportunity, she was so happy since the film did so well. She was well known to audiences from her role in the film. Nidhi has also done Music Video ”˜Boliya Nadi’ recently.
When asked how her daughter is coping with all the attention, Nidhi’s parents said she is a natural performer, who loves to act, dance and sing. ”˜She is so excited, she’s always wanted to be a performer’ her mother says, proudly.
It was lovely to hear Nidhi’s sweet voice on the phone. She shared a lot, has travelled to Vaishno Devi, Andaman Nicobar on holidays and wishes to travel to America one day. She loves watching Bollywood films and speaks Hindi well. I asked her what would you like to become when you grow up; She laughed and answered, “I wants to be an actor & model.”
Nidhi is learning Hip Hop dance and keen to learn Classical dancing. “She has got that acting bug and we want to help her dream come true. Our intention is to educate and inspire her so she can have her very best chance for success, when she is little older and she wants to give it a try in acting as her career, we will support her completely,” her parents added.
Here’s Sydney wishing Nidhi good luck for her dreams.
