Natak Mandali presents Teen Patti and Becharo Bahram on Feb 6, 7!
Natak Mandali Inc (NMI) is a not for profit, collaborative, community platform, which aims to provide a unifying medium in multicultural Australia, with the intention to encourage and strive interest in the performing arts.
Natak Mandali’s creative directors, actors and volunteers have been working hard for the last few months rehearsing on two plays ”˜Teen Patti’, a suspense thriller and Becharo Behram, a hilarious Parsi play to be staged on February 6 and 7, at the Bryan Brown Theatre and Function Centre. Tickets have been selling fast at $40 and $60, some eager ones suggesting another session as due to Covid-19 restrictions the seats are limited.
Natak Mandali was formed last year aimed at providing Sydneysiders with innovative theatre with well known actors in Aparna Tijoriwala, Dinsha Palkiwala, Farida Irani, Noshir Irani, Cyra Noshirwan, Vispi Irani, Firoza Bachana, Hemal Joshi, Rushi Dave, Saral Somaiya, Jwalant Patel and Manisha Vyas in their team.
Natak Mandali elected its executive comprising Jimmy Medhora as its President, Kamini Pandya as Hon Secretary, Dinsha Palkiwala and Aparna Tijoriwala as joint Vice Presidents/Creative Directors and Parag Tijoriwala as the Honorary Treasurer.
