Australia Day Council of SA looking for nominations for two awards from our community

On behalf of the Australia Day Council of South Australia regarding their Awards for Leadership in Languages and Culture are seeking nominations from young people of Indian origin.

There are to award categories,both designed to recognise young people who are inspiring young leaders, passionate about languages and culture and who advocate for a multilingual and culturally diverse Australia.Its a great opportunity to pay these people the ultimate compliment and pay it forward to let these special youth know their actions have not gone unnoticed as they lead,inspire and assist others.

Nominating is not difficult, it comprises answering just five questions.Below is some information including suggested copy for sharing. If you re4quire anything further, please contact:

Key DatesNominations close 31 October 2021.    The award will be announced and presented at an awards ceremony to be held at Government House in January 2022. 
Who can nominate Individuals, schools or organisations  
Nomination Process The nominating person or organisation should complete the online nomination form addressing all the selection criteria for the relevant award category and can provide relevant background information and supporting materials. Nominations must provide the names, addresses and telephone numbers of three referees who are familiar with the achievements of each the nominee.
