Relax at the New Gokula Farm at Cessnock

The Christmas holiday period has been a joyous time at the New Gokula Farm in Cessnock with hundreds of guests visiting with their families and friends.

There has been Kirtan and dancing on the lawn, endless prasadam to fill guests’ stomachs and of course darshan and worship of the beautiful Sri Sri Radha Gokulananda.

Lady volunteers and devotees were very helpful in preparation of the prasadam and washing the dishes afterwards.

Guests and devotees have been blessed with the association of HH Ramai Swami on his visit to New Gokula Farm. Maharaj has been leading enthusiastic kirtans and giving wonderful Srimad Bhagavatam classes. Press the link below to watch one of the classes.

Due to the cancellation of the boat festival, devotees who were gathered at the farm decided to put their efforts into creating a magnificent flower festival for the Lord.

Head pujari Citrupa Prabhu with the help of Padmasri Mataji, her daughter Rupa, Jayasri Mataji, Atisundari Mataji, Bhaktine Wendy and SriKari Mataji worked tirelessly to create a day set made from flower petals for Sri Sri Radha Gokulananda and the small deities as well.

So much love and devotion was poured into the event and the results were absolutely beautiful. There was also a special pushpunjali to celebrate this occasion.

With all the stress that people are facing in their daily lives due to the pandemic it is great to see people come to the farm, and be able to relax and enjoy themselves.

Visiting Sri Sri Radha Gokulananda, taking darshan, listening to talks on the Bhagavad Gita, taking prasadam and honouring the cows are all ways people find solace in the craziness of life as it is today.

The farm has accommodation available so guests can immerse themselves in the beautiful culture for an extended period of time. Visit the website for more details and make sure to follow Covid safety guidelines.
