Aamir reaches for lipstick and mascara again
One can never predict what actor Aamir Khan is upto next. Aamir is always challenging himself oblivious of the competitive film world around him.
Aamir Khan is reaching for the lipstick and mascara again. He made a great drag queen in 1995 film Baazi‘s cabaret number Dole Dole Dil Dole, complete with high heels, a feathered boa and slinky black dress.
Aamir’s many characters for the Tata Sky commercials also included a female one, with a long swinging plait and a Punjabi-kitsch outfit.

And now Aamir’s getting in touch with his feminine side again, for a new commercial.
For Baazi, Aamir spent hours in make-up on each of the eight days it took to shoot the song. He even waxed.
Make-up artist Mickey Contractor this time has helped Aamir switch genders, and that there was shaving rather than waxing involved.
Aamir, who was shooting for Rajkumar Hirani’s Peekay before this, can be voted as Bollywood’s best drag queen while earlier Kamal Hasan in ”˜chachi 420’ Amitabh Bachchan in ”˜Tere Angne mein’ song, Govinda in ”˜Aunty No 1’, Shashi Kapoor in ”˜Hassena Man Jayegi’, Mehmood in ”˜Arzoo’, Riteish Deshmukh Riteish Deshmukh in ‘Dekha jo tujhe yaar, dil mein baji guitaar’ in the film ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’, Govinda in ”˜Raja Babu’ have tried to switch to the fairer sex. We are sure our readers may know many more who have changed the role to become drag queens.
