Guess what Priyanka models for…

Priyanka Chopra is well known in India having acted in more than forty films. She is a great actress and now she takes on the wider world by modelling for Guess,  a famed spot that has previously been occupied by  Claudia Schiffer,  Anna Nicole Smith,  Drew Barrymore  and  Kate Upton to name a few.  

Says one of the company’s founder, Paul Marciano, “I knew instantly that I wanted to photograph her for Guess.”

“Priyanka is extremely talented and her wonderful personality comes through in her photographs.”

This our Indian bombshell  came on the Bollywood scene when she won the ”˜Miss World’ title in 2000 . Besides modelling for Guess she has also shimmied for a music video which is making huge waves on youtube with 30 million views already.

Says she about the brand Guess, “I bring with me the demographics that of a 1.4 billion where quite a few people know me. And I think diversity is the name of the game today. These brands recognise that the quintessential American girl can come from anywhere. I am glad that I am part of that change.”

But is she abandoning her Indian roots, says Priyanka, “I am actually not crossing over. I am still doing Hindi films and music. It still is a moment of pride to be the Guess girl.”
