Free Hindi Classes on Saturdays

NSW Government Education and Training’s Saturday School of Community Languages hold free Hindi classes for school students studying year 7 to year 12. They can go and lean Hindi for free at three SSCL schools located at The Hills School, Seven Hills 02 9831 1587 (year 7-12), at Liverpool Girls High, Liverpool 02 9822 5423 and Strathfield Girls High, Strathfield 02 9746 7498.

The Saturday classes run between 9 to 11.30 am (7-10 years) and for years 11-12 from 8.30 to 11.30am. Dedicated qualified Hindi teachers have been deployed to give special attention sensitive to the cultural needs of children and providing a rich Hindi learning environment. The Hills School is the only one that teaches students Hindi between the years of 7-12 while Liverpool and Strathfield cater to classes year 7 -10.

Last year The Hills SSCL student topped the 2Unit HSC Hindi subject in NSW HSC. Children learn not only speaking Hindi but also reading, writing, cultural activities and spoken expression of Hindi. They have quite a vibrant multicultural, multilingual environment at SSCL schools to thrive and stay connected through language of their roots.
