Lebara’s Zero Cent international calls
Lebara Mobile celebrates its 2nd birthday with the introduction of Zero Cent international calls
Lebara Mobile is redefining the international calling market for prepaid mobile phones with the introduction of the first ever 0c per minute rate to Australia’s most popular overseas destinations. The move is timed to coincide with Lebara’s second birthday, having been the first company to specifically target the international caller when they launched back in March 2009.
With a Lebara prepaid SIM, Lebara customers can now effectively talk for FREE for mobile and landline calls to India, after paying a one-off 25c connection fee. Rates have also been further reduced to other destinations, including 1c per minute to Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Managing Director Warren Hardy says, “Lebara created the market in Australia for low cost calling direct from your mobile. Our success can be attributed, not just to our famously low rates, but also to our high call quality, Australian-based Customer Service centre and our ability to deliver the high speed, 3G data service consumers demand to access the internet from their phone.”
