Dear Friend,

 

It gives me great pleasure to invite you to celebrate Independence Day (August 15) at my residence (No. 2 Pleasant Avenue, East Lindfield, Sydney, NSW 2070) from 0900hrs. As in earlier years, there would be a flag hoisting ceremony, singing of the National Anthem and reading of the speech of the Hon. President of India.

 

 As I most certainly do not have contact details of all Indians or persons of Indian origin, I look forward to your assistance in getting the word out to members of the Indian community, including Indian students, to come in large numbers on that auspicious day.
