The overall winner was announced as 17 year old Neha Reddy from North Sydney, on Monday 27 February, 2012. With parents originally from India, Neha is proud of her family’s heritage. In her winning clip, Neha cleverly depicted a typical day in the life of a teenager and displayed wonderful presenting skills, highlighting her S:Factor that won her the grand prize.

As for the supa cash prize, Neha has chosen to donate some of the money to the Australian Cancer Council.

Supa Secrets bars give me my fair share of the S:Factor, so rather than improve my own S:Factor, I’ll use the money to hopefully improve someone else’s by donating the winnings to the Australian Cancer Council, who do an incredible job with cancer research, trials and testing.”

“Cancer affects 1 in 3 people, and I, like almost everybody else, knows somebody close to me who has been affected by this awful disease. With each extra dollar put towards research, we are that much closer to finding a cure and saving hundreds of thousands of lives globally every year” she adds.

Neha’s talent, selfless attitude and charitable nature proves that she is a worthy winner of the grand prize. Not only did she won the $5000 grand prize Neha was also able to donate part of it for a worthwhile cause.

The Supa Secrets campaign aimed to increase awareness for parents and their kids about making the right choices for snack alternatives between meals.
