NASSCOM Innovation Student Awards centre-stage at CeBIT 2012

The Hon. Kapil Sibal, Minister of Communications & Information Technology, Government of India is visiting Sydney at the CeBIT 2012 conference.

The inaugural NASSCOM Innovation Student Awards will be presented by The Hon. Kapil Sibal, Minister of Communications & Information Technology, Government of India, at the CeBIT 2012 ICT Celebration Dinner on 23rd May at Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre. The Awards honour and promote innovative technology solutions developed by students across Universities in Australia. NASSCOM Australia supports initiatives by students, encouraging them to pursue their passion for creativity in the field of Information Technology.

The two categories in the 2012 Awards are:

IT Technical Innovation
This broad category is for any IT-related Technical Innovation, so encompasses new processes, innovative design, systems and device innovation.

IT-enabled Business Innovation
IT-enabled Business Innovation is for any innovative business application or process and could be systems based, cloud based or mobile.
