Vijay Kumar won a silver medal for India in 25 m rapid fire pistol at the Royal Artillery Barracks here on Friday August 3.

Vijay scaled Olympian heights with practicing for over two years as his army background inculcated strong discipline and nerves needed for the sport.

The results: Men: 25m rapid fire pistol: 1. Leuris Pupo (Cub) 34 (EWFR) 586; 2. Vijay Kumar 30 (585); 3. Ding Feng (Chn) 27 (588).
