Journalist Joe Hildebrand with Amer, Mahima, Radhika and Gurmeet

Dumb Drunk & Racist documentary made with Daily Telegraph journalist Joe Hildebrand and four Indians screened on ABC 2 early this year has earned a Logie nod Joe being nominated for ”˜Best New Talent’ .

The series was also controversial as it put the popular Indian perception of Australians as stupid, intoxicated bigots to the  test.

The series generated the highest ratings in ABC2’s  history.

Joe Hildebrand is a Walkley finalist, a News Award winner and frequent Walkley judge.
