With the sounds of drums, the exotic smells of spices and the laughter of children emanating from the Athletics Centre in Homebush one knew it could only be one annual event, the India Australia Friendship Fair. Once again UIA hosted the India Australia Friendship Fair on the  August 25,  2013 in Homebush, Sydney, bringing together families and friends for a day of celebration, entertainment and the best food in Sydney.

Value World Travel was proud to be a major sponsor of the India Australia Friendship Fair. Co-founders of Value World Travel Mr Neni Tiwary and Ms Gargi Tripathi when asked by the media about the event, they said “We are so proud to be the major sponsors of such a fantastic event and this year the talent shown on stage and the huge variety of stalls created the family atmosphere we all come to love of this fair each year.”

Gargi said, “The Indian community has definitely made its mark on the multicultural society of Australia, with an increased presence Australia-wide since Indian Independence and even from earlier days. Australia offers us that freedom to continue to live our culture whilst integrating into a society rich with differences and uniqueness. This year’s Friendship Fair clearly showed the strengths in which our culture has connected the Indian people to the wider multi-cultural community that lives in Australia. We decided this year to add ‘Children’s Colouring In Contest’ besides the entertaining drummers and dancers which went around the arena throughout the day.”

Value World Travel’s stall was yet again a draw card for all that came to the fair, with not only the annual Value World Travel Guessing Competition to “Win a Ticket to Anywhere in the World” but this year introducing a children’s colouring in contest which drew the kids in all day. Ricky Singh, Head of Operations at Value World Travel stated “With face painting, balloon animal making, free give away of hats, t shirts, balloons and stickers the Value World Travel Stall was a vibrant, energetic and busy place to be, we appreciated all who visited and spent time having a chat with us.”

Value World Travel and its team were once again thrilled to give away a major prize, this year giving away ‘One Return Airfare Ticket to Anywhere in the World’ on the day.
