While King Khan was making waves in New Zealand and Australia I was in Mumbai – the Bollywood town. It lacked something. Instead of reading about stars, glamour and glitz of Bollywood in the tinsel town the reason being that Sydney had attracted all its stars ”“ Madhuri, Shahrukh, Rani Mukherjee and Jacqueline Fernandez.
Shahrukh euphoria set a mood of sorts in Sydney as people tried to dance with his ”˜One, two three four get on the dance floor’, Madhuri’s Breaking news haye re mera ghaghra and Yo Yo Honey Singh’s Disco. Though Honey having created controversy over some of his earlier songs which he denies the Temptation Reloaded team of 40 dancers and more took Sydney by storm. The arena thundered with dance, disco, music and fun and a show which has left a gaping , jaw dropping experience as whole of Sydney is left with an after taste and the whole town is talking on its Facebook with comments. Indian community Down Under has been swept over by the stars – an evening of sheer Bollywood glamour.
Sydney community’s Lucky Singh and her husband Balbir got lucky as they got to share some hilarious moments on stage as the couple went along with the joke as Shahrukh got Sydney into a cheeky mood. Even our own Poonam Gidwani had her own glory as SRK danced and romanced with a so called candle light dinner and played piano with a medley of ”˜hole hole ho jayega pyar’ with surprisingly a kite given to her by Khan with her name printed on it. A past Miss India and famously known in Sydney for her beauty crown finally got the crowning moment with SRK as well.
While the two ladies got their attention there’s definitely one who is quite disappointed and that is young Shannel Fanous who was the winner of Shahrukh Khan Temptation Reloaded Contest – a diehard fan as she struggled to get King Khan’s amorous attention and failed. Shannel actually is of Egyptian origin and just loves Bollywood.
Well Temptation had its day or shall we say an evening as it was loaded with fun and a variety that Sydneysiders have never ever seen. Come on Bollywood we need you here more often!
