Join in Padyatra of seven temples in Sydney at Easter

Hindu Council of Australia invites Indian community and their friends from wider community to join in a Padyatra or one can say a day of local pilgrimage of a walk to seven temples right here in Sydney.  HCA had a successful 2013, with PADA YATRAs organised three times last year April (Easter Long weekend) October (Labor Day long weekend) and New Year’s Eve (31st Dec).

The team at HCA invites all for PADA YATRA 2014 with first walk during the Easter Long weekend starting on Good Friday and would like all to register their interest to get further details about the program.

Walk Dates:  Friday 18th April 2014 at 6:00 AM

Routes:  Group starts the walk from Sri Murugan Temple in Mays Hill (Westmead) at 6am to Shri Sai Baba Temple in Strathfield. Participants are welcome to participate in groups from temples of their choice listed below

BAPS Swamy Narayan Temple

Sri Mandir (Auburn)
Durga Temple (Regents Park)
Sri Ayyappa Temple
Karpaga Vinayakar Temple (Flemington)
Shirdi Sai Mandir (South Strathfield)

Supported by all the Hindu temples of Sydney, this Yatra is held under the auspices of Hindu Council of Australia (HCA) and plans to be a regular annual event.
