On Sunday 26 October, Dandenong Market is celebrating the Festival of Lights with  a fun day of free entertainment for the whole family (from 10am – 3pm).

A full day of free activities in planned: including breathtaking dance performances by the inimitable Bollydazzlers, samples of traditional Indian treats, and free arts and crafts activities to celebrate Diwali. Dandenong Market’s perennial favourite Sci Westwood will also be putting a Diwali-themed spin on kids face painting for the day.

Dandenong Market Diwali Family Day

10am – 1pm           Our talented henna artist Neetah Shah will create your very own exotic henna art (Meat, Fish, Deli Hall)

10.30am                         Bollywood dancing with the spectacular Bollydazzlers (Market Square)

11am – 3pm           Celebrate Diwali with festive face painting for kids (Market Square)

11am – 3pm           Diwali arts and crafts (Market Square)

11.30am                         Bollywood dancing with the spectacular Bollydazzlers (Market Square)

11.45am                         Cooking demonstration: The Kitchen celebrates Diwali (kesar pista roll) (The Kitchen, Market Square)

12.30pm                       Bollywood dancing with the spectacular Bollydazzlers (Market Square)

1.30pm                             Free tasting from The Kitchen: delicious mithai (The Kitchen, Market Square)

(Note: free face painting and children’s crafts continue until Market close at 3pm)

Sundays at Dandenong Market is family day and include FREE parking.
