Police investigate public place shooting in Harris Park

 

Police from Parramatta Local Area Command are investigating reports of a public place shooting at Harris Park on Saturday April 18, 2015  afternoon.

About 2.35pm, police were advised that a number of shots were fired towards a business in Wigram Street.

No one was injured during the incident and a crime scene has been established with specialist investigators now in attendance.

Wigram Street was   closed for few hours as Police cordoned the area between Marion and Ada Streets.

Motorists were  advised to take alternate routes.

Inquiries into the incident are continuing.
