Join in in People’s Climate March on November 29
Hindus, along with people of other religious traditions, are calling for strong action on global warming, but Australia is not doing well in this regard. Crucial UN climate negotiations are taking place soon in Paris and it is hoped a robust global treaty will be agreed upon.
To show civil society’s support for such a treaty, family-friendly, festive People’s Climate Marches are being organised world-wide.
The Australian Religious Response to Climate Change invites you to join the
Sydney March, starting Sunday, November 29th at 1 pm at The Domain, Sydney.
Come along also to the multi-faith prayer service starting at 12 noon at Pitt Street Uniting Church, 264 Pitt St.
We’ll process from there to The Domain. More information:
