For 2015 Doodle 4 Google competition by Google, Aussie kids were asked, in years 1-10 to draw a doodle based on the theme “If I could travel back in time I would…”.

Out of more than 24,000 submissions, 320 state and territory finalists, 32 year group winners, and 4 national year group winners, Ineka Voigt of Canberra High School, ACT was declareed 2015 Doodle 4 Google National winner!

For her doodle on ‘Stolen Dreamtime’ Ineka wrote: ‘If I could travel back in time I would reunite mother and child.’

The doodle shows a weeping mother sitting in an ochre desert, dreaming of her children and a life that never was… all that remains is red sand, tears and the whispers of her stolen dreamtime
