Sydney in splits with Sunil Grover and Kiku Sharda

TV Actors Sunil Grover and Kiku Sharda have become household names in India, thanks to TV reality shows. Sunil & Kiku known for their popular former female comic characters ”˜Gutthi’ and ”˜Palak’ on a television show Comedy Nights hosted by well known comedian Kapil Sharma, the show started on Colors TV 2013, the endearing characters – Bittu, Dadi, Palak, Gutthi and Bua have been etched in the memory of the audience. Sunil Grover currently appears in Kapil Sharma show on Sony TV as Dr. Mashoor Gulati.

In today’s world when stories of violence, gore abound there are a few who make it their profession to make other people laugh. And they make everyone laugh out loud as Sunil Grover and Kiku Sharda need no introduction.

The stand-up comedian duo were in Sydney to perform live for the Sydneysiders recently. It was hot and humid but in no way it deterred Sunil Kiku   fans from meeting them on Friday December 9, 2016 at Dezire function Centre, Blacktown, ahead of their concert ”˜Dr.Mashoor Gulati’s Comedy Clinic’.

Almost as soon as they walked in, fans went wild asking questions. When Sunil was asked to whom he credits his success to, he smiled and said his ”˜audience’, “I am happy being a woman and people also accept me as a man (on screen), which means I am an actor who is accepted in various kind of roles despite my funny character on screen,” Kokisaid the actor.

Another question that popped up was how do you describe comedy? “Comedy is more than just a pleasant way to pass an evening, humour more than something to amuse”.

“It is totally a therapy for me, doing comedy show, said Kiku, “I unwind myself at home spending time with my two boys after work.”

“We both want to keep trying and keep people entertained and we thank all our fans for all the love and affection they shower on us,” both said. At the end of the Meet & Greet, people crowded to get pictures clicked with them.

Next day, Sunil Grover Comedy Clinic Show was held at Whitlam Leisure Centre, Liverpool. Gorgeous Emcee Sakshi Kapoor welcomed the audience with performances by Road2 Bollywood group. Show started soon as Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda along with Kajal as Bumper Nurse took to stage, and the audience were in for a non-stop comedy by this witty comedians as audience chuckled and laughed all the way till late at night. Not only that Kiku Sharda is an amazing comedian his brilliant dance moves he did live right in front were impressive. Sunil Grover kept the audience entertained with genuinely funny jokes though the comedy dragged on a little towards the end.

Sunil Grover whether he’s playing Gutthi or Dr.Mashoor Gulati on the comedy show, he ensures that we don’t miss a single episode of his on Sony TV. Sunil has cemented a special place in our hearts with his exceptional comic timing, Sunil is a natural artist who can perform amazing mimicry and keep the audience entertained with his funny jokes.

Event organisers Rohit Duggal RD Nites & Sparsh Entertainment brought Sunil Grover and Koki Sharda to Sydney. Both Sunil and Kiku sure had Sydney in splits and every time from now on when we switch on Indian channels we are sure to connect to them more personally having witnessed them live from up close.
