Salman, the handsome hulk won Sydney with his performance, Sonakshi, Bipasha, Prabhu Deva – Oh! what a mega show his team put up – one can say the greatest show this year that Bollywood fans witnessed

When the SULTAN of Bollywood comes to Sydney, it has to become the talk of the town. From Australian media to Indian media, Facebook feeds, Twitter, Snapchats, et al the Da-bangg concert created a storm.
Spearheaded by the superstar Salman Khan, the stars of the Da-bangg tour also included actresses Sonakshi Sinha, Bipasha Basu, Daisy Shah, actor and dancer Prabhu Deva, singer Badshah and MC Manish Paul. Organised by CineStarr Events and Chocolate Room Australia, the event took place at Qudos Bank Arena with an attendance of up to 20,000 fans.
Dressed to the hilt, holding placards ‘We luv u Salman’, people came to witness a mega show of dance, glamour and glitz with just about every Sydney Bollywood lover and Salman fan turning up at the arena.
Expectations were high and the organisers did not disappoint. The concert started on time with beautiful and eloquent Sakshi Kapoor and Pallavi Sinha as the MCs. The dance troupe from Shiamak Davar Sydney provided a glimpse of the high energetic performance the fans could look forward to.
The host of the show anchor-cum-actor Manish Paul lead the Bollywood gang by introducing all the stars one by one. While Daisy Shah enthralled the audience with her energetic dance moves on latest chartbusters Kala Chashma, Break up song, sara zamana, sultry actress Bipasha Basu showed that she still has the oomph by showing off her moves with Jadoo hai nasha hai, bidi jalele ke and race. The Dabang original actress Sonakshi Sinha captivated her fans with her lively expressions on songs like Govinda, gandi baat, dil catch kiya re. Prabhu Deva, the Michael Jackson of India moved everyone with his electric dance moves. Rapper Badshah (accompanied by two singers) made everyone jive to his catchy tunes from the songs Saturday Saturday, Break up song, ladki kar gayi chull, humma, etc. The stage literally changed into a nightclub when he performed.
But it was the superstar’s entry and performance that took the cake. The heartthrob of millions descended on the stage from the top amidst dazzling pyrotechnics, which looked like a lighting shower from the heaven. Not wasting time, he broke into a spectacular dance performance swaying to his popular songs from his films Maine Pyaar Kiya till Sultan. While some of his fans could not stop screaming, more than a few dozens of ladies swooning over his good looks and dance moves!
A few lucky female admirers also got a chance to share the stage and perform with him. As they were in total awe of Salman Khan, host Manish Paul sent us into splits with his hilarious jokes about how he wanted the fans to admire him! The eligible bachelor, Salman Khan lovingly referred to as Sallu Bhai, who has crossed 50 had fans from young kids, girls and yummy mummies dying to be with him.
With no break, the concert continued with non-stop energetic performances by the stars as Salman Khan danced with all the gorgeous actresses. The lights, sound, backdrop, special effects were extraordinary matching the supersona of the superstar, who was termed as the ”˜Brad Pitt’ of Hollywood by Channel 7.

Congratulations to the organisers and sponsors for pulling such a massive concert with great aplomb. After the show, the meet and greet winners also got a chance to meet their favourite superstars. One of the winners, Darsh Trivedi got a big hug and autograph on his T-shirt from his idol Prabhudeva and Badshah commended him on his brilliant dance.

After the show, Salman Khan could not stop praising the audience. “It was like a big party happening in Sydney. I haven’t done a show in a long time and forgot about the spontaneous reaction from the fans. There is so much love and respect from everyone’s heart, and it makes you feel really good. Known for his
humility, he also gave due credit to the dance crew. “These last few nights we have not slept at all. The hardest part is for the dancers who dance non-stop for three hours. Their stamina and dedication is phenomenal”.
Smiles galore, everyone went home mesmerised by the biggest Bollywood concert of the year!
