The film features two Bollywood actors (Rajeev Khandelwal and Usha Jadhav) and New Zealand-Australia based Chelsie Preston Crayford in the lead.  Rajeev has acted in a number of Bollywood films and TV series which include Aamir, Table No.21 and Kahin To Hoga. Chelsie’s claim to fame is mainly for her award winning performances in Australian TV – for instance  for  Underbelly: Razor  she won the prestigious  Logie Award and for  The Code  she won AACTA award. Usha has been adjudged Best Actress in India’s most prestigious National Awards.

The film has been shot entirely in Australia in picturesque settings. It also involves crew from the Australian film industry and supporting cast from talent pool in Australia.

The film’s storyline is very relatable to all migrants. The performance, music and cinematography have been widely acclaimed.

Among the international acclaim Salt Bridge has already received, shortlisting of songs and music for the 88th Academy Awards (Oscars) is the greatest. The Oscar’s Margaret Herrick Library has invited the film’s screenplay to be archived in its permanent core collection – not many films can boast of such an achievement.

Says Abhijit, “Salt Bridge is the first Hindi film produced in Australia.    Your support will help immensely and encourage such endeavors in future. Please watch Salt Bridge with your family and friends. It is classified PG.”
