Easter long weekend, fun at the New Gokula Farm in Cessnock!

There were record crowds visiting the farm over the easter long weekend. It was a wonderful and joyous atmosphere with so many guests helping serve.

Kids were treated to japa lessons, activities and face painting and beautiful kirtan added to the serenity of the day.

Sri Rama Navmi celebrations were held at the farm with devotees dressing Sri Sri Radha Gokulananda as Lord Rama and Sita in a forest theme.

Mahanidhi Prabhu, a dedicated devotee who runs the shop at the farm, has created with the help of Pratapana Prabhu a new pamphlet to advertise the farm. The pamphlet will be available from the information centres at the Hunter Valley and Newcastle and will hopefully bring more visitors to the farm attracting them with a free vegetarian lunch.

Visiting devotees to the farm Amit Prajapathi, Gandirajan Selvaraju, Kunal, Selva, Shalin, Shiva and Thangarasu Perumal donated a beautiful silver cup set for all the deities.

Guests who would like to visit the farm must book online via the Farm’s website: www.newgokula.com
