Families! Come, experience and enjoy the Royal Easter Show

The cattle are groomed, the pumpkins are picked, the chicks have hatched and thousands of exhibitors and volunteers are waiting for the gates to open on the Greatest  Easter  Show on Earth!

The Royal Easter Show welcomes all families to come see and enjoy some of the most exciting highlights of the 2018 Sydney  Royal  Easter  Show, which runs from 23 March to 3 April 2018.

This years’ highlights include:

  • District Exhibits: more than 50,000 items of fruit, vegetables and grains have been passionately arranged to create visually spectacular displays representing the five districts of Southern, Northern, Western and Central NSW and South-East Queensland.
  • Children’s Sheep Handling Demonstration: Do you know what it takes to prepare a sheep for the Show? The Sydney  Royal  Sheep and Wool Show is arguably the most prestigious in the country. Many hours are spent preparing these animals in the lead up to the Show. See all the hard work of the young handlers in actual competition in the Sheep Pavilion.
  • Farm of the Future: Come and check out the newest innovations in agriculture. What role do robots, drones and virtual reality have to play in the future of modern agriculture? Find out how mustering is done by a drone, how a crop can be planted by a robot and you’ll leave thinking you’ve just stepped off the farm with the virtual reality exhibit.
  • Main Arena: Roll-up, roll-up the circus has come to town! Join Ring Master Michael Keen from Barnum and Bailey Xtreme Circus for some amazing performances. With the  Easter  Show Hot Air Balloon as the centrepiece, trapeze artists will perform daring, and in one case a never before seen manoeuvre on silks suspended from the balloon while being slowly spun by circling horses. Accompanying these acts will be a motorcycle high wire trapeze, the dual wheel of death and flying trapeze acts. With some of the best performers in Australia, the main arena entertainment is not to be missed!
  • The Stables: Finish off by sampling some of the delicious foods on offer at the international award-winning high-end food destination – The Stables.
