India number three in medal tally with 12 gold, 4 silver and 8 bronze

Some highlights by Indian athletes at CWG 2018:

Heena Sidhu gave India its 11th gold medal on day 6 of 2018 Commonwealth Games by finishing at the top in 25m air pistol.   Sidhu is seen celebrating her record win with her coach and husband Ronak Pandit.

Shreyasi Singh, clinched the top podium finish in double Trap shooting in Gold Coast.

India won historic gold in badminton mixed-team event at Commonwealth Games 2018, thrashing three-time defending champions Malaysia in the final. Saina Nehwal led a long, intense battle against Soniia Cheah to give India the top position.

The table tennis men’s team clinched gold with an emphatic win over Nigeria. The men’s side capped off their 3-0 win, a day after the women’s team stunned Singapore.
