As someone once said, a marriage is like a house. When a light bulb burns out, you fix the bulb. You don’t go and buy a new house. Or do you???

Hindi play  Shaadi ka Laddu, Laddu ke Shaadi  is a hilarious farce about marriage.

Whether your relationship status is single, looking to get married, in a relationship, complicated, married, or blissfully divorced, there is something for everyone to relate to.

Shaadi ka Laddu, Laddu ki Shaadi  is a light play that provides a window in to an average Indian marriage.

 “A successful marriage is always a work-in-progress”……. The play explores facets of marriage and relationships. Our sole aim is to entertain audiences, so come and enjoy a good laugh.”

The cast includes Sydney’s own talented team of Vipul Vyas, Aparna Tijoriwala, Hemal Joshi, Jyotsna Sharma, Abhishek Merhotra, Bindoo, Kashmira Sachania, Pradip Pandya, Rushi Dave, Suman Mathur, Mansi Gandhi, Abhishek Sood, Akanksha Srivastva and Akshat Gupta.

The play is presented by Ekal Vidyalaya, Australia as their Annual Fundraising event. EVF Australia have by now supported and adopted over 700 Ekal schools in India which are run in villages with one teacher teaching students of all ages at a school run by the village.
