‘Suneheri Yaadein’ by ISGH for a good cause on September 6
On Friday September 6, 2019, the seniors’ group, ISG, headed by Dave Passi and his wife Kanchan Passi is hosting an evening of entertainment, dinner and cocktails at Parravilla Function Centre. Some of the finest and most experienced musicians namely Pushpa Jagadish, Sadiq Rehmani, Abhijit Dan and Vishal Lakhia. There will also be a few emerging voices from my academy on stage with ‘Sunheri Yaadein’ the unforgettable music of the 50s and 60s. The nostalgic memorial music will also have in the program a few dances, choreographed by the well-known dance teacher and choreographer Sharmila Maitra, will also be a part of the repertoire.
Says Avijit, “The worthy cause is the most important aspect for the evening, with profits going to Cancer Council NSW. This is the very reason that I accepted their invitation to perform at the event. This is a first-time venture by the Senior Citizens of our communities and I would encourage everyone to please support them through tickets and sponsorship.”
Says Kanchan Passi, “Its going to be an entertaining evening along with a sumptuous dinner and a gathering to encourage ISG seniors to mix and mingle and network and for a good cause when we donate the proceeds from the show to Cancer Council of NSW.”
