Weddings galore in Bollywood and here!

Post Covid Weddings are happening all over. It is as if couples who had gone in hiding during Covid were waiting for the pandemic to get over which it is not really. Yet the recent wedding of actor Rajkumar Rao with Patralekhaa after a decade long relationship happened in Chandigarh.. Perhaps Covid decided it for them to finally tie the knot.

Rajkummar and Patralekhaa have never shied away from talking about their love for each other. In 2019, in a post for Humans for Bombay, Patralekhaa opened up about her love story. She shared that when Rajkummar saw her in an ad for the first time, he thought that he would marry her one day.

Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa have shared screen space in Hansal Mehta’s 2014 film Citylights.

Patralekhaa shared, “He’d often go out of his way for me. Once, he was running late to see me, so he stopped the cab near the airport and ran all the way to Juhu! Not only that, but when we were earning very little, he surprised me with my favorite bag, which was ridiculously expensive!”

Another wedding that is eagerly being looked forward to is of Katrina Kaif with Vicky Kaushal in December. Although they keep on denying, the news of their ‘roka’ ceremony is out there every where. Vicky Kaushal’s role in the movie Sardar Udham has been greatly appreciated whereas Katrina’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ had a good run at the box office. The news of their soon-to-be wedding would have heightened the curiosity, moreover the public was eagerly waiting for the cinema halls to open.

That is Bollywood weddings for you but here Sydney is reeling with many weddings from December to January on wards. Reena Koak, known to have organised single-handedly ‘Miss Mrs Mr India Australia’ pageants last one with bollywood actress model and Miss Asia Pacific 2000 Dia Mirza as the judge, marries Andrew Zarb in Canberra in December.
