New Collaborative creative work grants, for artists, apply by April 1

Would you like to create new artwork, explore creative collaborations or pursue professional development opportunities?

Achieve your artistic goals with funding assistance through the Blacktown City Council 2022 Creative Arts Fund.

Artists and community organisations are invited to activate new ideas and initiatives, and take advantage of partnership opportunities with other organisations, artists and community groups. The Creative Arts Fund also creates a platform to build social and cultural connections between the communities of Blacktown City. It encourages creative expression by supporting a range of arts and cultural activities for communities and artists at all stages of their development.

CATEGORY A: Community Organisations and groups
We encourage incorporated local community organisations who wish to work on a creative idea with the help of an artist to apply for grants of up to $3,000 to deliver artistic programs with the community.

CATEGORY B: Individual artist or artist groups
We welcome local artists and arts workers with grants of up to $2,000 to assist their professional development or to work on an arts project with local community organisations.

Applications close Friday 1 April 2022, midnight
